Common questions

What does marriage and couples counselling help with?

It gives couples a confidential, structured space to work on communication, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, trust, intimacy, finances, differences in parenting and major life transitions, including the aftermath of infidelity.

Can we have couples counselling online if we live in different places?

Yes, where appropriate. Sessions run on Zoom, which suits couples in long-distance relationships or living in different countries, subject to the professional and legal requirements that apply in each client’s location.

Are assessments used in couples counselling?

Where appropriate, yes. Tools such as PREPARE/ENRICH, SYMBIS, the Dyadic Adjustment Scale and the Couples Satisfaction Index may be used. Each partner completes their responses privately before the findings are explored together.
